What exactly is this course about? It’s a seven module marketing course for carpet cleaners who want to run a successful and highly profitable carpet cleaning business. It’s all about finding and keeping high-paying customers. A lot of the course is all about profiting from the customers you already have (this is where the real money is!). It’s NOT about methods of cleaning or chemicals & machines. It includes all the forms & marketing materials you will need (over 30 downloads). These are easily editable in Microsoft Word or other free software.
How is the course delivered? Modules One & Two are available immediately. There are a further five modules that will be dripped out at ten day intervals. This is to prevent ‘overwhelm’ and to allow time to work through the exercises. It consists of about 80 videos that can be watched on any computer, tablet or smartphone. Over the course of a few weeks, you will build your own successful carpet cleaning business.
Do I need experience of social media? Not at all. The course does not deal with social media at all as it is constantly changing and in my view there are far more effective ways of getting new customers. However I do recommend setting up ‘Google Places’ as it’s free.
But isn’t social media to way to go these days? It may be very low cost but it’s time intensive to keep up with all the changes. Also the quality of customers leaves a lot to be desired (typically price shoppers). However much of this course is all about retaining & profiting from customers once you’ve got them. This is where the real profits are and does not require social media. Also much of the training about acquiring new customers and advertising in general can easily be applied to Facebook Ads or Google Ads for example.
What if I have questions? You’ll be able to get them answered (eg. hiring & paying employees, should I get off the truck?, should I be a sole trader or limited company? etc etc.) with regular Zoom calls. You can join these free of charge for six months after purchase.
